Thursday night workout

30 minute full body workout with Erik of Life Recovery Fitness “Get Your Life Back”.  It was a good endurance type one tonight and ready for the next three Sundays!

Event Updates

I just registered to do the Hot Chocolate 15k (sponsored by Anonymous) on Dec 8.

I will be doing my first half marathon this Sunday at the 25th Runner's Den Feista Bowl 1/2 Marathon here in Scottsdale.

I also will be doing the Frosty's Run - 10 mile run & 2 mile fun run/walk  (sponsored by Michael Gugisberg) on Dec 16.

Holiday nutrition tips

- Have a healthy snack before going to any party
- Keep healthy snacks at work (nuts/fruit/yogurt)
- Find the fruit and veggie trays at the party
- Go light on the carbs

- Have a extra green salad easy dressing
- Drink plenty of water!

UPDATE

Official registered for the 9th Annual Pat's Run on April 20, 2013 this morning.  Today was the opening day for registration for it and hoping to get a low number for my race bib.  This is one of the few events that I know will sell out!

This is a 4.2 mile race run in memory of Pat Tillman. I will be registering the kids for the 0.42 mile kids run here shortly.  They loved doing it this year, and are asking to do it again!

I have my official time for the 5k which is 27:27, but it may be a day or two before I have my 10k result because it looks like they forgot to restart the timing chips for the double header's 10k times.

Saturday UPDATE

I will be running a doubleheader race tomorrow morning, which starts at S 1st Ave & W Jefferson St @ 8am and my bib number is 1062 for those who make it down to watch or catch some of it on 3TV. The second race starts @ 9am which is a 10k. I will be doing updates here and on my Facebook as I can.

Friday UPDATE

I will be running the 3TV Phoenix 10K & Half Marathon doubleheader 5K & 10K on Sunday morning.  The 5k race start at 8am in Phoenix at S 1st Ave & W Jefferson St.  The 10k race will start at 9am at the same location.  I will post finishing time as soon as I have on the Achievements page, hopefully sometime in the afternoon on Sunday.
