30 minute legs strength training with Erik of Life Recovery Fitness “Get Your Life Back”. Then I did a 60 min SurfSET class with Larry at AZ Extreme Fit. It was an awesome abs workout, and I am getting a little better at doing one of the challenge poses.

Wednesday rest day / Athlete Octane
This Spartan athlete has octaned up and am trying out Athlete Octane for a full month to see how much more it can really help my training.
I found this new endurance supplement that has been giving me a bit of extra boost during my training workouts and runs. They are a small company, but they have been great about getting back to me about my questions and been great to work with. If you live in the Phoenix area they do have their product in several running and athletic stores along with Sprouts Farmer's Markets.

I did a 60 min SurfSET class
and it was awesome! Tonight we worked on legs mainly and I got a nice burn going in my quads, which is something I was needing.

RUN NOW pledge
On May 1, 2013 I pledged to RUN NOW that I would complete 78.6 mile by June 5, 2013 National Run Day. I the past 35 day I have completed 72.77 of those mile with having to take a week off to heal a hurt foot from my first stumble on Piestewa (Squaw) Peak. I will be completing the remaining 5.83+ miles tomorrow, because I have done 20+ mile just in the past three days and today is my normal rest day. Thank you for your support!

I also did a 60 min SurfSET Blend class and it was awesome! It was a good challenge and I love that Larry (instructor) keeps changing it up to keep challenge my athletic level.
